New Vaccine Appointments Available at OKC-County
February 17, 2021

KOCO 5 News recently released an article titled "
OKC-County Health Dept. Makes More COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Available" which expands on the plans that the Oklahoma City-County Health Department has set in motion for the next round of vaccinations.
A new vaccination event presided by the OKC County Health Department and Mercy Health System will make 1,500 doses available for people aged 65 and older. The appointments will be scheduled between February 8th - 10th at the Mercy's Meinders NeuroScience Institute and will focus solely on patients who need the first shot of the vaccine.
In an effort to avoid crowds and other last-minute inconveniences, health officials have asked people to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment and stay inside their vehicles while waiting for their turn. Other measures include valet and shuttle services to accommodate patients. In case of cancelation due to unfavorable weather, recipients will be notified via phone call at least 2 hours in advance.
